Do you sometimes feel like there's something missing? Or something wrong, but you're not quite sure what? I believe that many of us long to become emotionally healthy in such a triggering world. I also believe that many of us are seeking healing and restoration for our hearts and minds. It is definitely a process, but it is certainly possible. I love the privilege of counselling young adults and seeing their process unfold as they start to see themselves and the world through a new perspective and embark on their own journey towards a healthier heart.
Holding space is at the forefront of my practice. Creating a safe space where you can bring to light the pain you've felt. I work based on the Person-Centred approach where you are the expert of your life. I am simply there to listen and facilitate your process. I assist in life skills and coping mechanisms (like art) for the particularly tumultuous seasons.
If you've been feeling tired, worn out and conflicted and looking to process some of your emotions and thoughts in a safe, authentic environment, why not give counselling a try? So many things start to make sense in the world once we've been heard and seen for how we truly feel and what we're going though.
