Clients have different needs that they would seek assistance with from a competent professional. The client needs to be heard and their feelings validated. I provide a safe and confidential space for clients 14 years old and above to engage with me. My specialist Counselling knowledge and approach will put the client at ease and allow the therapy to take its course. I acknowledge that each individual requires different levels of support and based on that, I apply my technique of empathetic listening and appropriate counselling as required.
My focus areas include the biopsychosocial model as an inter-disciplinary model that looks at the interconnection of biology, psychosocial and environmental factors relating to mental well-being. As one focuses on work and career, we also cannot divorce the mental wellness associated to the way we live, work and relate to each other.
