Mimi completed a four-year degree in psychology and 9 month internship counselling at Headway (An association for Traumatic Brain Injury); Witkoppen Health and Welfare Clinic and volunteered on The Phelophepha Train of Hope, under the supervision of psychologists. These experiences opened Mimi up to extensively appreciate the extreme diversity and need to offer polarised and inclusive counselling services to the dynamic cultures and context of South Africa. Mimi is highly trained in psychology to provide an array of psychological & mental health services. She’s adopted the Person-Centered and Solution-Focused Approach.
