I am a clinical psychologist working with adult individuals, couples and adolescents. I am primarily interested in our relationships and our sense of self in relation to others, oneself, the future and the world. We may sometimes find ourselves feeling lost and confused. I am interested in these human struggles and our attempts to find meaning in sometimes chaotic, uncertain contexts. Ultimately, we are searching for a sense of home and belonging, a place where we can just be ourselves. We may lack internal cohesion and search outside for answers. I offer a space for slowing down and for reflective action. Be there.
I am conveniently located in the Parktown North area. Apart from my psychotherapeutic work with individuals, couples and adolescents, I conduct medico-legal assessments involving road accident claims. The impact of a head injury, PTSD, the loss of bodily confidence and chronic pain in relation to interpersonal and occupational functioning is assessed.
You can join with me as we travel on life's journey, filled with both adventures and misadventures. You will encounter ambivalence, confusion and a sense of lostness at times, particularly when moving to deeper, neglected areas of self.
