Therapy can be a very daunting journey. People often fear entering into a therapy process as they know it will be difficult to face their emotional pain and suffering. I understand how scary this can be and one of my big aims for therapy is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can develop the confidence and motivation you need to face these struggles in your life. I offer clients the space to accept and grow from their difficulties and to build resources for difficulties they may face in the future.
I am a registered clinical psychologist in private practice in Kempton Park. I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families. I have a special interest in helping people work through trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction problems, and relational problems. I provide both short and long-term therapy.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist should be the guiding force in therapy. My therapy aims to help clients understand and gain insight into unhealthy behavioural and relational patterns. We can work together to help create the best version of yourself.
