I am Mavasa Themba, a registered Clinical Psychologist with a private practice in Pretoria Central and Montana. My private practice offers face-to-face consultations, virtual consultations, short and long-term therapies, and child/play therapy. I offer psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing a range of psychological difficulties.
I offer individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy that is tailored to meet the unique needs of my clients. I also do medico-legal assessments and a variety of other assessments such as road accident funds assessments, school placements, criminal capacity, personality profiles, etc.
My treatment methods/techniques are primarily derived from psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, systems therapy, person-centered therapy, rational emotive behavioural therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
