My name is Marineesa Majola and I am a registered Counselling Psychologist based in Goodwood, Cape Town. I have a passion for working with children, adolescents and families who are experiencing various life difficulties, life role transitions and adjustments. My work with children and adolescents is a collaborative working relationship that involves the parents as, I believe, this ensures open communication and trust in a safe and non-judgmental space.
My framework is client centered and this means that the therapeutic modality is chosen according to the “best fit approach” and in the best interest of the client. My therapeutic modalities and training include REBT, BWRT, Attachment Theory and Family Systems Theory.
