I have experience with addiction disorders and can be supportive during the recovery phase.
I work Eclectically and have a Person Centred approach. Understanding influences from the past can be very helpful towards understanding repetitive patterns. I often make use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT) techniques to facilitate change.
In over 15 years of experience as a therapist I have developed an empathetic and caring but direct approach. I understand that therapy is not always easy and that it requires bravery to enter into therapy. It would be a privilege to play a guiding role during your process.
