I am a qualified social worker, qualified in Industrial Psychology, Theology and currently studying for a Higher Certificate in Pastoral Counselling all with the aim to do counselling for the clergy, their families and the general populatio.
The clergy are the first point for counselling in most communities. Who counsels them?
The clergy deal with other people's family issues, yet they face the same challenges.
For divorce counselling they are sought out, yet they are sitting with the same marital problems which lead to divorce.
To lighten their diverse burdens, I am available - for them, their children and their spouses.
One one counseling on appointment.
Couple and family counseling. Talks in seminars, church groups, clergy and spousal meetings and any gatherings with their children. Through narrative therapy I walk the road with the clients, empathetically navigate, explore and interrogate their issues all with the aim to help them deal with their presenting issues.
Even though the clergy work and deal with other people’s challenges they too need someone to also counsel them. They need a safe space to share, ventilate and off-load so that they would be able to continue. On appointment I am available for face to face, telephone and virtual confidential and professional counseling in the privacy of my office.
