I am a registered Clinical Psychologist who welcomes all individuals to my practice. Everyone’s emotional well-being and mental health is important; regardless of your race, gender/gender expression, religious beliefs, or physical attributes. I offer psychotherapy to individuals (children included)/couples/families and groups. To me, psychotherapy is a collaborative process that assists with facilitating self–and-emotional awareness, insight development, empowering autonomy, providing psychological support through the process of self-actualization. In other words, psychotherapy facilitates GROWTH!
To cater for the uniqueness of every client, I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy. I have been trained in various psychotherapeutic modalities and I use this advantage to meet individuals at their needs. I prefer this approach because of its versatility that allows for interventions to be tailored to each client’s personality, their problems, goals.
Often when we feel overwhelmed by our problems and emotions, we tend to cave in, at times without even realizing it. It is at this point where we lose track of our core beings, our personhood and capabilities. It is normal to reach this point in your life, you are human. In therapy you may navigate these difficult moments, amplify your strengths, and GROW!
