I help LGBTQ+ (or questioning) and marginalized people struggling with identity development, sex/sexual health issues, relational trauma & self-worth/self-esteem, cultivate a fulfilling relationship with themself and others within the context of rigid cultural expectations. Feeling seen is a human need, and often, in an effort to be accepted we push down the very parts of ourselves that make us unique in favor of accomplishment, likability and to avoid punishment or embarrassment.
Our bodies and nervous system offer so much information about our needs and desires. When we experience adverse experiences these get stored in the body only to be repeated until we process them fully. I use somatic and emotion focused modalities to help process experiences that have been stored in the body and mind to complete the cycle needed for healing.
You deserve to be seen for your full self, to feel comfortable, playful and present in your body and mind. Sometimes this can feel inaccessible if our daily experiences don't reflect this.
