About
I am a Counselling Psychologist based in East London. I work with both adults and adolescents. I work with various presenting concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, career guidance, adjustment to life transitions and grief. I utilize a therapeutic approach that focuses on early relationship dynamics where the impact of past wounds creates challenges within us and as a result, impacts our relationships with others. This approach to therapy, helps clients choose healthier behavioural responses. I view the counselling relationship as a partnership where two people work towards a goal.
I utilize positive psychology, narrative therapy and mindfulness, which focuses on positive thinking, strengths, resilience and building healthy coping mechanisms. My research and special interest lies in forgiveness and self-forgiveness. I am incredibly passionate about helping clients discover their career journeys.
I strive to create a supportive environment where my clients feel safe, validated and not judged. I am passionate about people and their unique journeys to psychological healing. I believe that our stories shape us. It is our responsibility to choose in which way we will be shaped by our experiences and how we will make meaning out of past wounds.
