My Therapy is a multi-disciplinary practice with four therapeutic focus areas namely 1) Support for South African expats currently living abroad, 2) Psychotherapy for treatment of - suicidality, depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, borderline personality disorder, unresolved trauma and amputee support, 3) Relationship therapy, for couples of any sexual orientation, polyamorous families, reconstituted families, specialising in "last chance" couples and 4) Sex therapy and sexuality counselling for problems with sexual functioning and sexual identity issues.
My ideal client is between the ages of 16 and 55 years old. They are addicted to a substance or behaviour but they cannot afford to or have the time to check into in patient treatment. Their goal is to achieve long term sobriety as well as insight and awareness into their addiction and behaviours with an experienced addiction professional.
