I offer online and in-person counselling, with flexible weekday, evening, and weekend sessions to suit your needs.
Life can feel heavy. Sometimes the weight of anxiety, grief, change, or just the relentless pace of everyday demands makes it hard to breathe, let alone move forward. If you've reached the point where carrying it all alone no longer feels sustainable, that's not weakness. That's wisdom. I work with teenagers, young adults, and adults who are ready to explore healthier ways of coping, growing, and finding balance. Whether you're adjusting to high school, navigating a major life transition, or simply trying to manage stress and relationships with more ease, I offer a safe, judgment-free space where you can be truly heard.

I offer psychotherapy and neuropsychological assessments for children (7+), adolescents, adults, and couples, both online and in person.
Often, people come to therapy not because there is one clear problem, but because something doesn't feel quite right anymore. You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected from those around you, or wondering why the same difficulties keep resurfacing. I work with children (7+), adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, maternal mental health concerns, grief, and major life transitions. Together, we explore these experiences with curiosity and care.

Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or caught in patterns that no longer serve them. They may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress or burnout, relationship difficulties, grief, or significant life transitions. Others seek therapy because they want to better understand themselves, their relationships, or recurring emotional challenges. Together, we create space to explore these experiences with curiosity and compassion.

My therapy style is non-judgemental and collaborative; creating a warm, trusting and authentic space where clients can explore new insights into themselves while being equipped with skills to bring about constructive change and alleviate distress. Whilst I am guided by evidence-based psychological interventions, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), I acknowledge that mental health is multifaceted and subsequently my approach is strengths-based and holistic. This includes acknowledging the connection between the mind and body and thus considering the role of mental, physical and social factors on overall health and wellbeing.

I offer therapy sessions in-person, on the world's softest sofa, or online via video.
My ideal clients are individuals who feel overwhelmed by the pressures of everyday life. They may be experiencing ongoing stress, anxiety, burnout, relationship strain, or difficulty coping with major life transitions. Many are high-functioning people who appear to be managing on the outside, yet internally feel exhausted, stuck, or unsure how to regain balance. Some clients struggle with academic or workplace pressure, while others feel emotionally drained from caring for others, navigating family challenges, or managing chronic stress and chronic illness.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
