I have been practicing as a psychologist for twenty years. I work with adults and adolescents (age 11+). My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, loss/grief, self-esteem, identity, relationship difficulties, stress, burnout, ADHD, parenting and personal transitions. It takes bravery for a person to seek help, and it is very important that the therapist exudes warmth and acceptance. I find it is so helpful for people to talk through challenging issues in order to feel supported, and to find a way through.
My approach is integrated, based in psychodynamic theory and drawing on Schema Therapy and other approaches depending on the client's goals. I believe that it is very important to connect with a therapist. You are welcome to phone me to see if there is rapport.
