I am a Clinical Psychologist with experience in both private and public sector. I have a special interest working with people who struggle with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD or phase-of-life-challenges. To me, therapy is a collaborative partnership in which both therapist and client join hands in developing the changes the client seeks. My approach is informed by Narrative therapy, but I also works in more structured body-based modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, TRE (Trauma release exercise), EMI (Eye movement integration) and Resource therapy for clients who live with the effects of trauma.
My special interests include attachment and trauma, and I work collaboratively with clients to support growth and healing. Understanding how prolonged distress and trauma impacts on the body and the brain, has shifted my practice to adopt a holistic style that assists clients to reconnect to their bodies and support nervous system regulation.
