About
Registered Counsellors are there to help you deal with personal issues before they get out of hand. We aspire to prevent mental disorders from developing rather than treating them once they have developed. We don’t work with people who have a clinical diagnosis, but we are able to refer you to the right type of psychological practitioner who can. I can help you work on areas such as Grief and Bereavement, Self-Esteem and Body Image Issues, Acute Depression & Anxiety, Overcoming Trauma, General Coping and Adjustment Challenges, Behaviour Management (children), and COVID-19 Related Stress
As a counsellor, it’s not my aim to tell you what to do. When we have sessions together we will discuss your situation and focus on developing coping strategies and/or setting goals to help you change something that is disrupting your everyday life. My aim is to help put your mind at ease and to empower you to make your own life-changing decisions.
I focus on helping you develop cohesion between your feelings, thoughts, and behaviours. I want to help you to prioritise your values, compose constructive thoughts, and set realistic goals, so that you can make purposeful life choices influenced by mindfulness and confidence.
