I am a Clinical Psychologist in private practice. I have worked in a major trauma hospital and a private Psychiatric Hospital. I have extensive experience with survivors of trauma, as well as in treating anxiety and mood disorders. My focus is to equip you with healthy coping mechanisms and empower you to navigate through life’s challenges. I approach patients in a non-judgemental and collaborative manner, allowing them to reach their personal goals. I work with admitted psychiatric in-patients at Akeso Clinic Alberton and Parktown. I see out patients at Johannesburg Surgical Hospital and twice monthly at Medimix Albereton.
I offer psychotherapy for adults and adolescents with a focus on treating anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD and complex trauma, amongst others. My therapeutic approach is primarily integrative, allowing me to tailor sessions according to the specific needs of each individual client.
My goal is to offer this safe space for you. All individuals, couples and families are welcomed into my practice. I understand that therapy is not a one size fits all approach. It may even take some time for people to get use to the process. This is why I specialise in personalised and adaptive therapies to meet your needs and circumstances.
