I am a Registered Counsellor with a private practice in Rondebosch. I provide both in-person and online services for adolescents and adults. I focus on difficulties related to bereavement, grief, loss, adjustment challenges, trauma and relationship challenges. While these are some areas of focus, I still work with a wide range of issues within my scope of practice.
There is no 'one-size-fits-all' when it comes to counselling and different approaches will work for different people. I like a holistic and integrative approach to counselling. Depending on your specific needs and reasons for seeking counselling, I will tailor my approach and draw on appropriate counselling skills and methods that will best support you.
The initial sessions provide you with an opportunity to share your concerns in a confidential and non-judgemental space and allows me to gain a deeper understanding of your current experiences and background. This time also allows you to get a sense of who I am and the way I work. From here we will discuss a plan as to how to move forward.
