I am an Educational Psychologist. I love people and are passionate to help children and their families to work through change or trauma. I have 30 years of experience in the field. My range of services include Psychotherapy for individuals, children and adolescents, Individual Educational assessments and Exam concessions, Trauma counselling, Divorce counselling (for parents and children who's parents go through a divorce), Marital therapy and Play-therapy with children. I have a deep compassion and interest to work with individuals who have experienced loss/grief or divorce. Each client is seen as a unique individual.
I see people with ADHD, ADD, anxiety, Behavioural issues, bereavement, coping skills, Depression, Developmental disorders, Emotional disturbances, Family Conflict, Intellectual disabilities, Marital counselling, Oppositional Defiance, Parenting skills, Peer Relationship difficulties, School Issues, Self-esteem, Self-harming, Trauma and PTSD.
Some people may enter therapy because they have felt sad, worried, confused, angry, or numb for quite some time. Others may enter therapy due to loss of a loved one or sudden life changes e.g. work, school, etc. Others just need an ear that is objective. What ever the reason there is support! I work eclectic and mostly with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
