All of us at some point might need support to deal with the many challenges of life, whether it be a personal crisis, a loss, an addiction, a feeling of stuckness or a change in one's ability to cope. I offer compassionate and non-judgemental psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. It is not always easy to take the first step to start therapy and to be vulnerable, but allowing yourself to open up is often the start of the journey towards acceptance or change.
I consult clients who struggle with a variety of issues such as addiction, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, burn-out, work stress, coping, self-esteem and relationship problems. I also have a special interest in addiction and recovery, having worked in addiction and mental health clinics for over 20 years
Addictions can be challenging for the person struggling with it, but also for loved ones. I assist with all levels pertaining to addiction, from exploring whether you have an addiction or are worried about your use of substances, to more intense problems where your life has been affected and you need support, guidance, therapy or intervention
