I have a passion for supporting individuals who face barriers to thriving - whether personally, socially, vocationally, or academically. Such barriers may include emotional difficulties such as anxiety or depression, as well as cognitive challenges such as learning difficulties or concentration problems. I strive to facilitate the development of skills and coping strategies within in the individual on their path towards realizing their potential.
I have worked in private practice as well as in the mainstream, remedial, and special education schooling systems where I have assisted both children and adults with skill improvement and coping strategy implementation. I have extensive experience in conducting psycho-educational assessments, remedial therapy, study skills guidance, and psychotherapy.
I believe in empowering clients by firstly providing a safe space in which they can openly express and explore their inner struggles, thoughts and feelings, and then facilitating their development of new insights and coping skills. Ultimately, my wish for clients is to gain the agency and resilience they need to live a fulfilling life.
