Casey is the founder of Freedom In Balance Wellness Centre based in Sunninghill & Bedfordview. Moving away from cold and clinical approaches, we prioritise warmth and connection – inspired by Maya Angelou’s lasting words that at the end of the day people won’t remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel. She assists teens, couples and adults with anxiety; depression; grief and loss; and trauma.
She is a registered Counselling Psychologist and Psychometrist (PS 0148830), utilising an integrative approach to psychotherapy, working primarily from an interpersonal therapy model and incorporating CBT, DBT and narrative techniques where necessary.
Casey is passionate about developing the field of psychology and strives to bring positive change to South Africa within the mental health sector by enabling and inspiring children, adolescents, families, adults and communities to create more meaningful and fulfilling lives.
