I am an HPCSA-registered counsellor working with older adolescents, young adults, and adults, in person and online. You might be here because something feels unsettled, unclear, or difficult to navigate, or because you are finding it hard to make sense of your thoughts, emotions, or current situation. Counselling offers a space to begin working through that, at your own pace. Change can feel overwhelming. It is daunting to imagine transforming into a whole other being. In reality, change can begin in small ways and still make a meaningful impact.
My work focuses on stress-related concerns, adjustment and life/career transitions, emotional regulation, and the impact of past experiences. I also have a special interest in trauma. In your counselling process, we can explore the past, navigate the present, and approach the future intentionally.
I am here to create a safe space for you to share and for me to hold sacred that which you bring. Being vulnerable is scary, but as soon as you step over the threshold into the counselling space, when you book your first session, your healing and newfound commitment to yourself have already begun.
