I work largely with children and teens, and the family unit. If you're confronted with a range of challenges, from mental health issues, learning difficulties to behavioural problems, I provide an understanding non-judgemental compassionate space where we unpack and 're-build' using therapeutic strategies.
I'm a registered Counselling Psychologist. I provide (1) a safe environment to talk about the difficult experiences, and (2) necessary tools to help manage them. In my integrative approach, to intervene, I use the tools of my trade which include Play therapy & Cognitive-Behavioural therapy to provide comprehensive psychological treatment.
My work experience has given me insight to better understand the pressures and demands on people, and in most cases we need someone to check-in with. My approach is to support you in a meaningful way in order to help you 'face up to negative / traumatic experiences, cultivate resilience, and develop better emotional functioning'.
