About
Anna Mabina is an Educational Psychologist who is currently employed at the University of Johannesburg in the Centre for Psychological Services and Career Development and also in private practice on a part time basis. Anna prefers to work with motivated, committed, openminded, trusting and hopeful clients who are willing to collaborate with her to find solutions to their problems. Anna is passionate about providing psychological support to children, adolescents and adults to reach their optimal functioning.
I am passionate in therapy with adolescents and adults with self esteem, adjustment, anger, relational and bereavement issues. I work with children and adolescents with behavioural and emotional problems. I also work with children with learning difficulties. My assessments include: Psycho educational, Career/ Subject Choice, School Readiness and Concessions
I am passionate about the work that I do as a therapist and I ensure that I provide my clients with a safe and non judgmental space. I see myself as a mental health activist who is concerned about the optimal functioning of my clients
