In my practice as a therapist, I am inspired by the philosophy underpinning Kintsugi. The art of repairing broken pottery with gold lacquer, highlights fractures rather than concealing them, creating something stronger and more beautiful than before. Similarly, therapy invites us to embrace our wounds, acknowledge our vulnerabilities, and find beauty in our resilience. Through compassionate reflection and introspection, we discover that our cracks and scars do not diminish our value but add depth to our story and strength in our wholeness.
I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Person-centered therapy to enhance the well-being of children, young people and families. I work with individuals to address a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, bullying, anger, grief and relationship difficulties.
Whether you or your child are struggling with a specific issue, seeking personal growth and self-discovery, or simply looking for support and guidance, I'm here to help. Together, we'll collaborate to explore your strengths, identify areas for growth, and develop personalised strategies to help you overcome obstacles and live a more fulfilling life.
