Richard Lettieri, Ph.D., is a forensic neuropsychologist and psychoanalyst. He has a forensic practice and private practice in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy in Irvine, California. Dr. Lettieri is a faculty member at the New Center for Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles and has previously taught at Chapman University and Pepperdine University.

Dr. Lettieri obtained his undergraduate and master's degrees from the City College of New York and his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. He has completed postdoctoral training and certifications in psychoanalysis, neuropsychology, and mental disability law. He is also a member of the Expert Witness Panels of the Orange County Superior Court, Orange County Family Court, San Bernardino Superior Court, Mentally Disordered Offender Program, and Board of Prison.

Dr. Lettieri has completed over two thousand forensic evaluations and testified multiple times in cases ranging for competency to stand trial, insanity, sexual offenses, assaults, juveniles transfer cases (evaluating whether a juvenile should be judged as an adult), drug offenses of all sorts, murder (including mass murder), and more.
