About Us

Founded in 1966, Youth Home, Inc. resides in Little Rock, Arkansas. Our continuum of care includes adolescent intensive residential and qualified residential treatment, specialty tracks, and school-based services, as well as outpatient services for individuals of all ages. We're a private, non-profit mental health provider. In the mid-1980's, Youth Home's program developed into a medical model directed by child and adolescent psychiatrists. Youth Home, Inc. is accredited by The Joint Commission, the nation's oldest and largest accrediting body for healthcare providers. The premier treatment center and team at Youth Home addresses a need in the state of Arkansas and beyond of quality healthcare for individuals and families.

Psychiatric Inpatient Care for Adolescents

Unique in Arkansas, Youth Home specializes in the treatment of emotional and behavioral health of adolescents ages 12 to 17 from a trauma-informed perspective, using a highly successful Intensive Psychiatric Residential Treatment program. Treatment plans are individualized with lengths of stay typically ranging from 3-7 months. This program is staffed 24/7 by a comprehensive team of professionals and is located on our beautiful, open 52 acre campus. Youth Home also offers specialty tracks within our continuum of care which includes Reactive Attachment Disorder, Safe Solutions, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Problems with Alcohol and/or Drugs.

Residential Inpatient Care for Military Dependents

As a TRICARE certified residential facility for patients ages 12 to 17, Youth Home, Inc. is committed to treating each adolescent as an individual and providing exceptional treatment for military families from anywhere in the world. Our program addresses children’s entire wellbeing including medical, psychiatric, social, and academic needs. We provide a variety of therapies and activities in a beautiful, open, and comfortable environment. For those families outside the state, we ensure you stay connected and informed throughout the treatment process because you are an important part of our treatment team. We even gladly offer visitation via video if family is unable to attend during visitation hours.
