NorthStar Transitions is a licensed and Joint Commission accredited drug and alcohol treatment program serving adult men and women. NorthStar offers detox, residential (inpatient) and outpatient treatment services. NorthStar is an in-network provider for United Healthcare, Cigna, Anthem BCBS, Humana, UC Health, Mines and Associates, Tricare, Multiplan, Compsych, and Poudre Valley School System. At the residential level of care, clients reside in an intimate 7-bed home just on the south end of Boulder. At the outpatient level of care, clients live in high-end sober living homes in the heart of Boulder, Colorado where they are offered semi-private bedrooms, a weekly food budget and gym membership. Clients participate in day treatment (PHP) and/or intensive outpatient (IOP) throughout their 12 week stay in the program. Clients are encouraged to work or be in school while participating in IOP. Clients in NorthStar's drug and alcohol treatment program are breathalyzed twice daily and given urine drug screens 2-3 times per week to ensure sobriety.
