Intersectional and Relational Therapy
Wove Therapy is fundamentally guided by intersectionality. We believe a person's multiple intersecting identities and lived experiences contribute to their well-being. Raising consciousness about various forms of oppression as well as privilege leads to better self-esteem, agency, and relationships with others. Therapy in this vein is fundamentally relational as people cannot shed their roles within social systems.

Our goal is to foster productive therapeutic alliances that are safe and challenging at the same time.
