Adult Residential Treatment
When you’ve been suffering from an addiction, taking time away from your regular routines to participate in a residential program can make a positive difference for your recovery. At Burkwood Treatment Center, we strive to set the standard for residential addiction care by delivering a premier rehab program for adults age 18 and older. Our residential rehab program has many unique features that may set it apart from other programs. These include a counselor-to-client ratio of 1-to-8, a dedicated recovery curriculum called the Way of Life System, and staff members who specialize in delivering focused treatment modalities, including Making Alcoholics Anonymous Easier (MAAEZ) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). In our residential program, adults who have a variety of addictions and co-occurring mental health concerns spend around six weeks receiving personalized care at our facility. Our average length of stay is 39 days, and clients receive customized support to plan for their ongoing recovery needs when residential treatment ends. Treatment Approach
When you take part in our residential program in Hudson, Wisconsin, you can benefit from comprehensive and compassionate care. Each person in our residential program gets an individualized treatment plan outlining the therapies and services they may receive during their time at our facility. A person’s treatment plan can include individual, family, and group therapies. We also provide medication management services that are delivered by a psychiatrist and our nursing staff, though we do not permit controlled substances. Additionally, we are able to offer certain medication-assisted treatment services, including prescriptions for Suboxone and Vivitrol, in our residential program. Clients in our residential rehab program typically work with an assigned counselor while also benefiting from the help of our multidisciplinary team. Individual counseling sessions usually take place at least once a week and can provide immense benefit for people in our program. Group sessions occur daily and may focus on goal setting, health and physical wellness, MAAEZ, and more. We provide coed and gender-specific groups. Our Treatment Center
