Adult Partial Hospitalization Program
Wilmington Treatment Center is a premier addiction rehabilitation center located in the beautiful coastal town of Wilmington, North Carolina. We accept patients age 18 and older who are struggling with symptoms of substance use disorders and certain co-occurring mental health concerns. We are dedicated to using an individualized approach to treatment and customize each patient’s treatment plan according to their unique needs and goals. We offer several programming options to meet patients where they are on the journey to healing, including a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that supports patients who need structure without 24-hour supervision. Though many of our PHP patients begin in our detox or residential program, we have some patients who begin treatment at the PHP level. This program typically lasts up to 28 days; however, the actual duration will depend on the personal needs of the patient. Treatment Approach
At Wilmington Treatment Center, we offer comprehensive programming for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns. We provide treatment for people who are struggling with addictions to substances like alcohol, cocaine, inhalants, meth, opioids, and marijuana. Our caring staff is made up of medical professionals, counselors, therapists, and other experienced healthcare professionals who provide the highest quality of care while helping patients heal in a supportive environment. Patients in our PHP meet seven hours per day, seven days per week and may participate in a variety of treatment modalities, such as individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy, many of which are based on the 12-Step model. Group sessions are available throughout the day, with morning, afternoon, and evening sessions in which patients can discuss topics that are educational and motivational. We promote personal growth by providing a wide range of therapies that are suitable for a variety of individual objectives. Our goal at Wilmington Treatment Center is to help our patients develop the coping skills they need to manage their symptoms and rediscover a more fulfilling life. Our Treatment Center
We take great pride in the atmosphere we have created for our PHP and the amenities available for our patients. Our campus is a sprawling space where we offer many types of therapies, such as auricular acupuncture, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and gender-specific groups. Our campus operates similarly to a college campus in that patients can choose to participate in select therapies as electives and may also take advantage of a range of amenities, including a fitness trail, a recording studio, basketball and volleyball courts, and a dining hall. Surrounded by the tranquility of nature, our treatment center offers physical comfort and a relaxing ambiance that fosters healing. We value a positive peer culture that encourages people who are struggling to help others who are struggling as well.
