Our program treats chemical addictions (alcohol and drugs) as well as process addictions such as gambling, sex, pornography, food, gaming, phone addiction and other dependencies that stand alone or accompany the chemical addictions. Our program also recognizes and treats co-occurring mental disorders that often accompany addictions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental afflictions. Our holistic program is focused on creating a healthy, balanced lifestyle, in conjunction with the most innovative and researched based therapeutic techniques currently available in addiction treatment. We assist our clients in reconnecting to themselves after having been lost to their addictions. MAT is a practice that integrates the use of counseling and prescription medication to address the mental and physical aspects of addiction and is a safe and effective way to achieve long-term recovery. It is a time-tested, evidence-based method that has proved to yield better results for patients. By offering MAT services, we take a comprehensive approach to providing treatment, giving patients an opportunity to learn coping skills that can help prevent future relapse. At West Milwaukee CTC, we are dedicated to delivering superior MAT services in a judgment-free environment.

Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 10th Street Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with opioid use disorder. MAT is a form of outpatient treatment that can help those who have an addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, or other opioids. Outpatient treatment programs like MAT are flexible and convenient, so adults can get the treatment they need while still working, going to school, or fulfilling other obligations. The medication used in MAT can alleviate the severity of withdrawal symptoms, including cravings, which decreases a person’s chances of using illicit drugs again, getting into legal trouble, or contracting infectious diseases. Along with the use of medication, MAT includes individual and group counseling sessions. This therapeutic component allows adults to address any underlying mental health disorder symptoms or behavioral concerns that may be contributing to their use of opioids. At 10th Street CTC, our goal is to provide treatment that combines medication and counseling to help adults achieve long-term recovery.

We provide a full continuum of care at locations around the country, including residential treatment centers; a full suite of outpatient programming, with Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient services with a flexible number of days per week; telehealth; and alumni programming.
