West Grove Clinic offers our patients comprehensive treatment. We provide you a knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate treatment team that works together to help provide you the best care. Appleton Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older. MAT combines the use of prescription medication with therapy sessions to help alleviate symptoms of withdrawal and keep you comfortable as you focus on healing. Our individual and group therapy sessions involve meaningful discussions that can help you work through the psychological aspects of addiction. Individual therapy will give you the opportunity to engage with our counselors in one-on-one conversations during which you can explore underlying causes of addiction, talk about your goals for the future, and ask any questions you may have. Group therapy sessions will give you the chance to connect with adults who are facing similar struggles. We encourage you to make the most of group therapy and to be a source of support for your peers by listening to their experiences and sharing your own.

MAT is an evidence-based form of care that combines the use of prescription medications with counseling to provide comprehensive opioid use disorder treatment. The medications used in MAT are approved by the FDA and can help ease the distressing symptoms of opioid withdrawal. Some methadone clinics only offer one type of medication, but at Madison West CTC, our staff can prescribe methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, or Vivitrol, depending on the patient’s needs. All patients who receive medication-assisted treatment at our clinic participate in individual and group therapy sessions that can provide them with ongoing support and encouragement as they work toward recovery.

Outpatient treatment programs like MAT are flexible and convenient, so adults can get the treatment they need while still working, going to school, or fulfilling other obligations. The medication used in MAT can alleviate the severity of withdrawal symptoms, including cravings, which decreases a person’s chances of using illicit drugs again, getting into legal trouble, or contracting infectious diseases. Along with the use of medication, MAT includes individual and group counseling sessions. This therapeutic component allows adults to address any underlying mental health disorder symptoms or behavioral concerns that may be contributing to their use of opioids. At 10th Street CTC, our goal is to provide treatment that combines medication and counseling to help adults achieve long-term recovery.
