The medications offered in MAT can alleviate the physical challenges of opioid withdrawal, making it easier for patients to avoid relapse and achieve the functioning needed to engage in treatment and regular activities. During MAT, you can also receive support through individual and group counseling to address the emotional and behavioral aspects of addiction recovery.
