The Basics

Have you dealt with trauma in the past and need a safe place to heal? We are a small and intimate women's treatment facility in Tampa, Florida, for women affected by addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our approach to treatment at is evidence-based and abstinence-focused with a balance of experiential therapies for whole-patient wellness, all catered to the needs of each individual. The intimate setting and female-specific care fosters bonding among patients to build an empowered community that promotes healing in a supportive and compassionate environment. There is also a strong focus on healing the patient's family system to set a solid foundation for lifelong recovery.
Treatment and Staff
In addition to the residential program, Hyde Park offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in a separate clinic with transitional living available. Each patient receives individualized treatment based on her specific needs for recovery. The clinical staff at Hyde Park specializes in helping women overcome body image issues and disordered eating that often co-occur with substance abuse, and they also have special expertise in dealing with trauma resolution. Hyde Park's staff places the highest priority on treating each patient with compassion and empathy as they tackle these deeply rooted issues throughout their treatment. With 25 beds available and a high staff-to-patient ratio, each patient will receive individualized care and will have the opportunity to develop lasting relationships with the dedicated staff as well as the other women receiving treatment. Activities like community dinners and the weekly psychodrama sessions further bolster the bonds between patients who become a support system even after residential treatment ends at Hyde Park.

Hyde Park's facility is located in Tampa, Florida, within walking distance of the Bayshore waterfront. The warm, home-like setting of Hyde Park is ideal for healing body, mind, and spirit. Our facility is set in a gorgeous turn-of-the-century renovated Victorian home within a residential neighborhood, providing an ideal environment for healing and escaping the chaos of addiction.
