Adult Residential Treatment
At White Deer Run of Lehigh in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, we offer a premier residential program for adults age 18 and older. We provide quality care in an empowering community setting for clients who are struggling with addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our programming includes a detox unit as well as a residential rehab unit with gender-specific treatment wings. Clients can begin their stay in our detox unit or our residential program depending on their needs. Our staff works with each person to ensure that they receive individualized care that fits their goals and circumstances so that they can achieve the most optimal treatment outcomes. We’re pleased to offer a variety of treatment modalities for clients in our residential program, including evidence-based therapies. A client may benefit from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), 12-Step programming, and motivational interviewing and take part in individual, group, and family counseling. A person’s care plan at our residential facility can also include basic medical care, medication management services, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Treatment Approach
Our mission at our residential treatment center is to deliver client-centered care that emphasizes strengths, empowerment, rational thinking, and family and community support. We want to create an environment where people can receive treatment that helps them build a strong foundation for their ongoing recovery. Our therapeutic approach focuses on helping clients feel hopeful and empowered through the support of a recovery community. When taking part in our residential program, you will have the chance to participate in structured activity groups seven days a week. These groups typically focus on relapse prevention, coping skills, and co-occurring disorders. The topics we cover in our group sessions vary but may include self-care, recovery celebrations, the disease concept, sponsorship, and support systems. We also cover topics related to mental health, including understanding mental health disorders, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, and we provide alternative therapies to promote positive mental health. Throughout your time with us, you’ll work on adopting a lifestyle that can help you secure a healthier future. Our Treatment Center
Our campus is located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in a wooded area of Salisbury Township in Lehigh County. Our residential facility is a comfortable one-floor building that has a basketball court, volleyball court, and area for lawn games. We feature a qualified staff, which includes case managers, social workers, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical doctors, and certified substance use counselors. Each potential client begins their journey at our addiction treatment center with a thorough assessment to help our staff understand their unique needs and determine if our facility is a fit. The usual length of stay in our residential program is about 18-24 days, but we also provide longer-term care for up to about 90 days on a case-by-case basis. During your time in our program, our staff will help you prepare for the next stage of your recovery journey, which may include referring you to a structured step-down program that can meet your needs. Additionally, our staff members will work to address other ongoing needs you may have after treatment. Other resources we commonly refer to include MAT services, mental health treatment, and primary care services.
