Adult PHP
Wellness Resource Center, located in Boca Raton, Florida, offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions and co-occurring mental health conditions. For most people, our PHP serves as the initial stage of treatment. Our clients stay in apartment-style housing and participate in therapies for six to eight hours per day, five days a week, and three hours per day on the weekends. Our PHP offers a range of educational and group therapies that can help clients set personal goals, identify behaviors that could lead to relapse, and learn skills to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Clients at this level of care receive continual support and work closely with an individual therapist throughout their stay. When clients are not attending therapy sessions, they can take part in supervised off-campus activities, such as going to the gym, attending 12-Step meetings, and going grocery shopping. Clients typically take part in our PHP for a minimum of 28 days up to 120 days, depending on their individual needs. Adult IOP
Once clients complete our partial hospitalization program, they can progress to our intensive outpatient program (IOP). This level of care is a step-down from our PHP, but clients continue to live in clinical housing while participating in treatment. In this program, clients attend group and individual therapy sessions and receive intensive case management services aimed at helping them transition back to daily life. Clients are also granted privileges such as cellphone use and internet access. In our IOP, clients engage in nine hours of therapy per week for four to six weeks. Compassionate and trained therapists lead individual, group, and family therapies, and sessions cover topics such as life skills, anxiety reduction, anger management, and trauma resolution. After clients are discharged from our IOP, our case managers can assist them in finding housing. Many clients end up moving to a transitional or sober living house so that they can continue to receive care and support on their recovery journeys. Our Treatment Center
