Water Gap Wellness serves individuals who have a primary mental health diagnosis, substance use disorder or co-occurring disorder. All clients receive intensive clinical therapy regardless of whether they have completed inpatient or residential treatment for a mental health, behavioral health, and/or substance use disorder. Clients benefit from a comprehensive, structured level of step-down support that fosters transition to a more independent lifestyle. The ideal client for Water Gap Wellness is one who appreciates customized care and also enjoys a peaceful natural setting and outdoor activities.
Expert Individualized Mental Health Treatment
Water Gap Wellness offers the most comprehensive Mental Health Treatment Program in Pennsylvania and the most intensive level of non-inpatient care. Our program includes private on-going appointments with our on-site psychiatrists, private counseling sessions a minimum of two times per week, conducted by seasoned masters-level counselors who are trauma-certified, three group sessions daily, DBT, CBT, art therapy, hikes, yoga and more.
Evidence-Based Treatment
Our holistic approach to wellness is designed to restore balance and re-calibrate the mind, body and spirit. Our clinical program offers a safe space for clients to self-identify their core issues and develop valuable coping skills, such as budgeting, medication management and time management. Additionally, we offer exceptional housing at the Water Gap Wellness Inn which is adjacent to the Appalachian Trail and has its own private golf course, fitness center, acupuncture, massage, yoga, nutritious well-balanced meals and more. The combination of our exceptional clinical program with the holistic housing component offers a true respite for healing. Additionally, transportation is provided at no additional cost.
