Spring Lake Ranch is a long term residential program (6 mos.+) for adults who struggle with mental health and often, co-occurring addiction issues.
The core of day-to-day life at the Ranch is meaningful work. This offers the chance for residents to find challenge and support. As residents and staff work together to care for our land and animals while providing for the needs of the community, they find meaning and gain important skills. Each day, residents and staff in small groups participate in all the work involved in keeping a community of nearly 70 people going. There are four crews which engage in five hours of work each day. The clinical aspect of our program, supported by our master’s level staff of clinicians, provides a wonderful complement to the work therapy.
