Vitality Integrative Programs (VIP) is unique in that it is one of two fully accredited rural Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC). This esteemed designation sets Vitality Integrated Programs apart from any other in rural Nevada in that we provide 9 specialty services, with an emphasis on 24-hour crisis care, utilization of evidence-based practices, care coordination, and integration with physical health care. VIP is proud to offer the city of Elko, and surrounding areas services that include: Crisis mental health and 24-hour mobile crisis teams, emergency crisis intervention and crisis stabilization Screening, assessment and diagnosis including risk assessment Patient-Centered treatment planning, risk assessment and crisis planning, Outpatient mental health and substance use services, Outpatient clinic primary care screening and monitoring, Targeted case management, Psychiatric rehabilitation services, Peer support and counselor services, and family supports, and Intensive community-based mental health care for members of the armed forces and veterans, particularly those members and veterans located in rural areas. These services are provided by an in-house "one stop shop" experienced team of Licensed mental health professionals that include: Board-certified psychiatrist, Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Occupational Therapist Specialized Case Management Services

Why an Integrated approach?

The integration of mental health with general medical and personal well-being just makes sense, and is recognized as a "best practice" delivery of services. Integration is a client centered approach which allows our consumers to have control of any service they choose to utilize. The sharing of information allows for comprehensive, accountable and an informative approach. VIP enrollment includes Psychiatric Services for medication evaluations and prescription services. VIP has a full-time Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in medication management. VIP provides 3 experienced full-time Licensed Clinical Social Workers, who provide comprehensive psychiatric and diagnostic evaluations, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, delivered through evidenced based, peer reviewed interventions. we have a fulltime case management team who are specially trained in "targeted case management" who work closely with consumers to ensure services are provided in a seamless timely manner. VIP has a fulltime licensed Occupational Therapist who provides evaluations and appropriate interventions. VIP maintains a 24-hours a day crisis hotline (775) 777-8477 answered by a licensed clinician. Our office connects to and has available primary healthcare services including dietician services, with the understanding that overall general health is imperative to complete well-being.

Community Connection

Vitality is a recognized name embedded deeply within the community of Elko, Nevada first opening their doors in 1971. Vitality is the life's work, and the passion, of its founder Dorothy B North. Since opening, Vitality is recognized throughout the State of Nevada as a provider of comprehensive substance abuse intervention and treatment. Moving forward Vitality recognized the need for growth to meet the needs of the community Dorothy North loved and called home. As in the past, Vitality is leading the way in the provision of comprehensive mental health interventions, and treatment. Vitality's administration coupled with the experienced leadership of our CEO and longtime Elko area resident Ester Quilici collaborated and applied their unique and intimate insight of our region. Vitality Integrated Programs (VIP) opened their doors on July 1, 2017, offering comprehensive supportive services to all healthcare consumers from the cradle to the grave. We are proud to be recognized by the State of Nevada and the nation as one of very few behavioral health facilities who are designated with the distinguished honor of a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC).
