Revered as the provider of high quality treatment in the Arkansas River Valley, Valley Behavioral Health is a 114-bed treatment center dedicated to providing excellent care to those struggling with mental illnesses. Valley Behavioral Health is devoted to providing this patient-centered care in a safe environment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Involving family members, promoting crisis resolution and self-awareness, learning social skills, and fostering personal growth is what distinguishes Valley Behavioral Health from other healthcare providers. Valley Behavioral Health System puts its patients first. Programs & Levels of Care
For children, Valley Behavioral Health offers a residential treatment program designed to help heal mental, emotional, and behavioral issues. With 24 hour monitoring and staff support, this program also includes daily school as part of treatment, which can aid in the transition back to the child's local school. Set in a safe, caring, and confidential environment, Valley Behavioral Health features a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults. PHP or IOP may be available after completing the adult inpatient program, or if inpatient treatment is not appropriate. Intensive outpatient services are focused on group work and are based on the patient's treatment plan. Partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services are acute care programs for those who do not require inpatient services but need more intensive therapeutic interventions. Admissions Process
Realizing that seeking treatment for a mental illness can be daunting, Valley Behavioral Health makes every effort to streamline the admissions process. Before starting a program at Valley Behavioral Health, an initial intake assessment must be completed to determine the appropriate level of care needed and to address any and all patient questions and concerns regarding treatment. Every assessment is confidential and available at no cost to those seeking treatment. Once completed, one of Valley Behavioral Health's psychiatrists review the initial assessment and make recommendations for treatment. Through the utilization of thorough assessments, Valley Behavioral Health's staff is sure to determine the most appropriate services that meet the needs of patients. If a patient is appropriate for a program at Valley Behavioral Health, treatment planning begins immediately.
