Emotional support is invaluable when you are managing major adjustments in your life, increased stressors from painful events, or wanting to heal from past experiences. Red Willow Counseling & Recovery is a mental health & addiction treatment center with locations in Salt Lake City, Park City, and Utah County. We are a team of dedicated professionals that help you get through depression & anxiety, trauma, life and faith transitions, and with specialties in addiction recovery, LGBTQ+ issues, relationship struggles, chronic illness and pain, and beyond. Our Intensive Outpatient program provides effective therapy services for people who need help with mental health & addiction recovery. Our team provides several support options including individual therapy, couples & family therapy, IOP groups, weekly support and workshop-style groups. There is Hope for Recovery
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is for people struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, and/or debilitating depression, anxiety, or other emotional difficulties. We pride ourselves on creating completely individualized treatment for you and/or your loved one. Through our program, you will experience intensive treatment designed to help you manage the crisis caused by addiction, gain the tools necessary to gain lasting sobriety, build your support network, and be equipped with resources to manage your ongoing recovery. Our IOP provides clinically sound group and individual therapy, case management, accountability, and family support. Often a person can get help for their addiction without having to go to rehab. With our comprehensive care, you can live at home and take care of your responsibilities; such as work and family commitments. If needed, you can live at a sober living facility for additional wraparound support while attending our program. Most people complete our program in 2-4 months, and have the foundation they need to sustain recovery. Unsure if you have an addiction? Our Wellness Program promotes emotional and physical well being to enhance your quality of life. We provide group and individual services for emotional wellness, body integration, mindfulness, movement, and expressive arts. We also have a group to explore and heal from the difficulties we have all experienced from the Covid pandemic. Together we address the following: Stress and anxiety, Isolation and Loneliness, Exhaustion--Emotional and Physical, Irritability, Depression, Loss of Hope, Grief, Apathy, General Malaise, Insomnia, and Spiritually Adrift. Join us weekly as we all "come back to normal".

At Red Willow, our goal is to provide exceptional IOP treatment for both addiction and mental health issues. We utilize treatment components which research has shown to be most effective. Our IOP includes: Group therapy — Three, 3-hour sessions: Group psychotherapy (2 hours), and Group psycho-education (1 hour). One hour of individual therapy/week. One case management session/week. Breathalyzer checks and random full spectrum drug testing. Our groups are facilitated by licensed, master level clinicians and licensed substance abuse counselors. If you have an established doctor or therapist, we will work with them throughout your treatment.
