Center for Change is a place of hope and healing that is committed to helping those suffering from eating disorders break free and fully recover. The Center offers intensive treatment for eating disorders and co-occurring issues, including a specialty program for co-occurring diabetes (ED-DMT1), and provides a full continuum of care: Inpatient, Residential, Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Program, and Outpatient therapeutic and dietary services. Our program and therapists treat maternal all perinatal mood and anxiety disorders related to childbirth. We focus on helping postpartum and pregnant mothers feel better mentally through different levels of therapy catered to mom's needs. The program addresses postpartum depression, anxiety, scary thoughts you might be afraid to share, intrusive thoughts, feeling irritable, worthless, coping, and thoughts of harming yourself or feeling like family is better off without you. We want all mothers to know that what your feeling is common but not normal and it can be treatable. All mothers will have direct access to our qualified staff of therapists and medical personnel for medication management while attending our unique program. The mothers will learn and master skills to help them overcome their challenges, connect with their child and partner, and feel “back to normal.”

Detox is the process of getting the drugs or alcohol out of the system and treating any uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms that may occur. The amount of time a client remains in our detox varies on a number of factors. These includes the severity of the dependency or addiction, what amounts of certain drugs are in the system, the type of drug and how long it takes to get medically stabilized. Medical detoxification involves administering and prescribing a series of medications to help minimize withdrawal and cravings, and constant assessment from medical professionals.
