Formerly named 'Alter Wellness Care,' our Laguna Beach facility is a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) designed for individuals seeking recovery from challenges related to mental health or substance mis-use disorders.

NOTE: We do not take MediCal at this time. Exist Centers is Orange County's premier outpatient (PHP/IOP) program designed to specifically target the physical, cognitive, and psychological causes of both substance use and mental health disorders. We know people can heal, and we provide comprehensive, human-first treatment. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides intensive daily therapy for substance use and mental health concerns, without overnight stays. It's ideal for inpatient transitions or those needing more support than traditional therapy. PHP is Monday through Friday, 5x a week. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides flexible treatment for substance use, with therapy and education sessions fitting into daily schedules. It's ideal for balancing recovery with personal, school, or work commitments. IOP is 3-5x a week, Monday-Friday, Mornings or Afternoons. If you need housing, we can help you find appropriate local transitional housing.

The benefits of Twin Town Treatment include accessible and affordable care which is covered IN-NETWORK by HMO's and other managed insurance plans. No-interest self-payment plans are available in the absence of insurance coverage. Community providers- therapists, doctors, employee assistance counselors, etc.- are involved and coordinated with the treatment team. Existing therapeutic alliances are supported and protected. Intensive outpatient and continuing care extends over five months.

Able To Change Recovery believes and has faith that people can and do recover from addiction. We treat the client without, shame understanding a disease affects them and they are struggling emotionally. These are good people who have the right to live a clean and sober life. The treatment team at ATCR has been in the field of addictive disorders for many years and brings extensive knowledge to the treatment of our clients. They understand the complexities of addiction and the underlying issues that plague the addict. We believe in a multidisciplinary approach. Our clients are taught about addiction and underlying issues. Our counselors help to understand and deal with these issues. Our clients are seen by our psychiatrist and evaluated for any possible co-occurring disorder or the continued monitoring of a pre-existing diagnosis. They are seen by our physician, and any pre-existing conditions are addressed. The client receives holistic approaches such as nutrition, our Nutritionist works with our clients at the facility but also visits the homes teaching the client tasty healthy cooking. Clients participate in Yoga on a weekly basis to enhance their ability to cope with stress and feelings in a healthy manner.

Northbound Treatment Services provides our clients with the treatment of alcohol and drug addiction, while specializing in treating young adults with co-occurring disorders. In addition to group counseling and psychotherapy, clients are also provided with therapeutic services based on their individual needs. Northbound's program goes beyond the standard outpatient treatment by providing our clients with educational programs led by counselors and professionals in our community.
