BasePoint Academy is an Outpatient Program that provides behavioral health and substance use treatment for teen boys and girls ages 11 - 18. At BasePoint we provide 2 levels of care: Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient in a safe space where teens can build trust with our team while finding their purpose, learning healthy boundaries and coping skills, and practicing these skills with their peers, while also addressing academics with our Education Counselor. This unique approach allows teens to build these skills during the day, while being able to return to the comfort of their home in the evening. In addition to their adolescent program, BasePoint Academy provides a track specialized in emerging adults struggling with mental health or substance use, serving ages 18-30.

Detox is the process of getting the drugs or alcohol out of the system and treating any uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms that may occur. The amount of time a client remains in our detox varies on a number of factors. These includes the severity of the dependency or addiction, what amounts of certain drugs are in the system, the type of drug and how long it takes to get medically stabilized. Medical detoxification involves administering and prescribing a series of medications to help minimize withdrawal and cravings, and constant assessment from medical professionals.

IOP stands for Intensive Outpatient Program. IOP tends to be a best fit for those who do not need inpatient level of care but when symptoms require greater therapeutic support than what can be achieved in the individual outpatient counseling. IOP is structured psychotherapy in a small group format. Group settings are effective in developing self-awareness, emotional management, and social awareness. In order to determine the best care plan for you, we offer confidential consultation and assessment services to better understand your physical, mental, social and emotional health history. Assessments may be scheduled by calling us at 469-340-2777. Whether your assessment is conducted in person or online, our licensed, compassionate clinicians in consultation with our medical staff will recommend an effective plan of care and answer any questions you may have.

Reflections is a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that provides meaningful treatment to adolescents (ages 11-18) at our location in The Colony, and adults (ages 18-65) at our location in Plano suffering with mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. It is the first Behavioral Health Lifestyle Medicine day treatment facility in North Texas.
