Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a comprehensive therapeutic approach that research has found to be helpful with a variety of different disorders. Some of these disorders include borderline personality disorder, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance abuse. DBT's therapuetic approach includes four modules that are taught during the six month program. The four modules are: Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
