For over 25 years, Center for Discovery has been helping thousands of patients recover from eating disorders using our Real-Life Recovery approach. We offer effective teen, adult, gender affirmative and LGBTQIA+ inclusive programs in our residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care with proven results within the first week. We are also proud to offer a unique Stars & Stripes Program to serve those who serve. Our therapeutic practices help patients know when/ how to use effective coping skills for avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), binge eating disorder, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, orthorexia nervosa, other specified eating disorders and co-occurring disorders like anxiety, depression, PTSD and OCD. Group therapy is the main method of treatment in our IOP, with each day including multiple groups. Groups are safe and supportive spaces where people can gain valuable information about addiction and recovery. During groups, clients can also practice new skills and share support with others who are working to gain a solid foothold in early recovery. Depending on the needs of the participants, groups may incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), relapse prevention education, and the Seeking Safety recovery model. IOP clients also take part in one individual therapy session per week, and family sessions may be scheduled as needed.
Starlite Recovery Center provides an intensive outpatient program ( IOP) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to alcohol, opioids, and other substances at two locations in Texas: Kerrville and New Braunfels.
At Starlite Recovery Center, we are committed to providing each person with the type and level of care that best meets their specific needs. This focus on personalized care is a fundamental feature of our IOP. Prior to starting treatment, new clients complete a thorough assessment so that we can develop a customized plan to guide their care.
