Our IOP services are tailored for individuals who haven’t achieved the desired outcomes from meeting with a therapist once or twice a week. Our clinicians offer a compassionate therapeutic environment, where they work with you one-on-one, in 3-hour blocks, 3 to 5 days a week to collaboratively address your specific treatment needs. These sessions can be conducted either in-person or virtually. Next Step Behavioral Houston is a 24/7 residential treatment facility for Adults 18 and older with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders. Our primary focus of care is mental illness. We provide short term (90 days or less) and long-term (life care) for our clients, which is based on their individual needs. Our client are individuals that have a history of going in and out of the hospital, have misdemeanors, and behavioral concerns.

Heights Treatment offers several levels of care to fit the needs of each individual in their recovery journey. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is the most intensive level of treatment with programming 5 days per week, approximately 6 hours per day. This outpatient option allows clients to benefit from a high level of clinical care and support with the luxury of living in their own home or sober living environment. Clients who seek a slightly less intensive level of care may choose our Intensive Oupatient Program (IOP), which is offered 3-5 days per week, for 3 hours per day. Just as in PHP, clients receive group therapy each day they attend treatment, with topics that range from DBT skills, healthy relationships, recovery skills, emotional, spiritual, and relational sobriety, and grief and loss. The least intense level of care offered at Heights Treatment is our Outpatient Program (OP). This program is designed for the client who is in need of additional support while they return to full-time work and/or daily living. Our Outpatient Program is then a great option for continuing care after the completion of IOP or PHP.

Menninger's new Bridge Program is designed for adults who are stepping down from a more restrictive inpatient program or stepping up from traditional outpatient services for more structure and support. Our program emphasizes patient-centered treatment in a relaxed therapeutic community that is unlocked except during sleeping hours. Residents progress with increasing personal accountability for wellness and nutritional choices, resuming work tasks, and building skills in the treatment pathway that best meets their clinical needs: Mood and anxiety; Substance use and addictive behavior; Emotion regulation (DBT); Trauma; Over-controlled personalities (radically open DBT).
